Meet Dr. Rios
Dr. Franklin Rios' desire to
become a dentist began as a curious second grader in his hometown in New Jersey. At the age of ten his family made the
move to Jacksonville, Florida where they have made their home ever since. He attended the University of Florida for his
undergraduate studies and continued with his studies at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
Dr. Rios graduated in
1999.
After spending five years learning from some of the best dentists in Jacksonville, Dr. Rios started Cypress Point
Family Dentistry with the mission to provide the same level of personal attention and care that inspired him to pursue
the dental profession as a child. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association,
Academy of General Dentistry, and International Congress of Oral Implantologist. Dr. Rios is passionate in his pursuit of
continuing education as he expands to keep up with the latest advancements in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry,
short term orthodontics, and general dentistry.
Dr. Rios and his wife Emily are active members of the Southside Community and are parishioners at Holy Family Catholic
Church. They enjoy participating in the River Run each year, working out, traveling,
playing beach volleyball, supporting
Gator's sports, and playing with their Cockapoo, Lucy Goose. They are expecting their first child in early October 2011.
